The album A Cappella Héros is launched!
Montreal, November 18, 2022 - QW4RTZis releasing today in physical and digital format a seven track mini-album, entitledA CAPPELLA HÉROS, featuring 4 original songs and 3 popular covers.
After more than ten years of existence and four tours across Canada, with A CAPPELLA HÉROS,the famous quartet is now asking itself the question: what if life had made us take different turns? Lending themselves to the game of imagining what they might have become if their paths had been different, François Pothier Bouchard, François "Fa2" Dubé, Philippe C. Dubé, Philippe C. Leboeuf and Louis Alexandre Beauchemin ask themselves... What if Phil had become a country star ? Fa2, a metalhead? Louis, a Youtubeur influencer? François, a new age guru?
The result: four original songs, both virtuoso and hilarious, exploring the musical worlds of metal(On est fâchés), country(Ma belle selle brune), synthwave(Acappellatron) and world music(Aguao Memoria)! And, because they never do things by halves, QW4RTZ 's mini-album A CAPPELLA HÉROS comes with a choice of four covers inspired by each of these styles!
In addition to these four compositions, the members of the quartet could not resist the temptation to add to the mini-album a cappella rereadings of songs they love: Tourne la page with the participation of Nathalie Simard, Tous les cris, les S.O.S. as well as a medley of Eddy de Pretto's Bateaux-mouches and Faire semblant by Miro.
