QW4RTZ composes the theme song for the movie LIVRÉS CHEZ VOUS SANS CONTACT
RELEASE
Montreal - August 27, 2020 - The QW4RTZ vocal quartet composes the theme song for the sketch film LIVRÉS CHEZ VOUS SANS CONTACT by the duo Corbeil et Maranda which will be released on September 4 .
"Une immense boule bleue flottant dans l’univers / Peuplée de gens qui profitent du grand air / Loin de se douter de la menace qui gronde / Un minuscule roi changera la face du monde…"
Thus begins the original song Livré chez vous composed and performed by the vocal group QW4RTZ and written by Jean-Marie Corbeil for the comedy "Livrés chez vous sans contact".
In addition to the original song, the vocal quartet can be heard in the soundtrack throughout the film, which opens on September 4.
A first for QW4RTZ
This is the first film music project for the band, but certainly not the last.
"We met Corbeil and Maranda several times and we both wanted to collaborate together. When they approached us with the idea of doing the music for their film, we immediately accepted! "explains Louis Alexandre Beauchemin, one of the singers of the quartet.
"It's fun to create and go into the studio for something other than our projects. Working on the music for this film made us want to explore this avenue. With the pandemic, we have no choice but to reinvent ourselves! "adds François Dubé, the band's vocal bass.
